CAROLYN'S JOURNEY IN A NUTSHELL
I have a busy job and so does my husband. We had often said to each other that we wanted to get fitter and healthier but lacked the time and motivation. I had used a Personal trainer in the past but found that I didn’t like the approach. Their approach was focused primarily on weight loss and completing goals like running a marathon. I was more focused on body conditioning, balance and core fitness.
I knew Spice it up PT would be the right fit after speaking to Kim. In our first consultation she ran through some exercises that focused on a full body workout in a safe and controlled manner. Kim has an encouraging but relaxed manner. She coaches you on nutrition as well your general fitness. After a few sessions I know that she would be a great trainer for my husband as well. I’ve continued training once a week. My husband enjoys it so much he has two sessions a week.
We’ve both had great results improving strength, fitness, balance and core stability. This has given us both more energy. While we could just go to a gym, I know from previous experience that it is hard to keep up for me and I get a lot more out of our session that I do spending time at the gym. I’ve been seeing Kim for about a year now and I would recommend Kim to anyone looking for a great personal trainer.
